What To Do With Used Tires
Don't know what to do with your used tires? The RSS below provides links to articles from my blog that you can read that explain many different uses and ways to dispose of your old used tires. You can trash them, reuse them, or even buy used tires to put on your car. People often wonder how to dispose of their old used tires or what they should do with a used tire. There are actually some pretty neat uses that you can implement that I am sure you haven't thought of before. Enjoy.
We should constantly think about bettering our planet and decreasing the
carbon footprint we continue to make here on earth. For that reason, it
is important to reuse or recycle your old used tires instead of
simply tossing them somewhere or burning them. Landfills are already bad
enough. We fill them with tons of other kinds of waste and it is
obviously hurting our planet.
Probably the best way to reuse
your used tires is to use them as a spare (or multiple spares) for your
car after you buy new tires. Obviously there has to still be some tread
on the used tire for it to be usable. If you don't want to do that, you
could easily sell them online or at a yard sale.
Another good
way to get rid of used
tires is to take them to a drop off center to be recycled. Tire
manufacturers encourage their customers to do this. There are specified
areas at your local recycling center or you can simply take them to a
local car parts store and they will dispose of them properly.
